A packing container of the non-returnable type is frequently manufactured from laminated material which comprises a central carrier layer of paper with thermoplastic layers applied to both sides. As an opening arrangement a pre-punched pouring opening is used which is covered on the one hand by a tear-off cover strip (pull-tab) located outside the packing container, on the other hand by an inner protective strip. A method for sealing an emptying opening in accordance with the invention ensures that a part of the inner protective strip (11) corresponding to the shape and size of the pouring opening (2) accompanies the cover strip (3) owing to the strips as they are applied being heat-sealed to each other at the same time as they are pressed against each other by means of pressure fluid. An arrangement for the realization of the method comprises a heating device (6) with a heatable zone and an outlet (8) for pressure fluid.

The invention relates to the processing of plastics, in particular to a device for the manufacture of packaging material-and of two thermoplastic layers joined by thermal welding to each other in the area of the drain opening of the container, obtained from this material.
The purpose of the invention is to provide an intensive heating zone along the edge of the drain hole.
Figo 1 shows a device, a cross-section; in fig. 2 is a layout diagram of a drain hole c. induction loop, corresponding to its shape; FIG. 3 shows a packaging container in which a tape of a seal covers a drain hole.
The device contains opposite plates 1 and 2, one of which is mounted with the possibility of movement relative to the other. On the working surface of the plate 1 is installed a heating device, made in the form of an induction loop 3, in the form of a corresponding configuration of the drain hole of the packaging container and located along the edge of the drain hole. The same plate 1 has openings 4 for supplying a pressure medium, for example air, to the working surface of the plate. The holes 4 are connected through channels (not shown) to the source of the working medium. The induction loop 3 can be made of copper and installed in a groove made in plate 1, which is made of non-conductive material. Known mechanical means (not shown) are used for the relative reciprocating movement of the plates. The working surface of the plate 2 is made flat. The induction loop 3 is connected to a high frequency current source (not shown.
The device works as follows.
In order to manufacture a packing material of a raw material with a drain hole containing a laminate of fibrous material 5, such as paper, the latter is coated on both sides with a thermoplastic material (polyethylene). The laminate also contains a layer of aluminum foil that reduces the gas permeability of the material and provides heat

This material is placed between plates 1 and 2 when they are in the open position, i.e. at some distance from each other. This ensures the correct position of the drain hole of the packaging material relative to the induction loop 3 of plate 1. The correct position is shown schematically in Figure 2 (the outer contour of the drain hole is indicated by a dash-dotted line). The induction loop for the most part runs at some distance from the contour line 8 of the drain hole 9, and in a limited part it runs parallel and exactly opposite to it.
After properly placing the drain opening of the packaging material between the plates 1 and 2, the latter are closed, moving towards each other, compressing the packaging laminate. At the same time, alternating current is supplied from the source of the high-frequency relative current to the induction loop 3 so that the material is heated. At the same time, the working medium creating pressure is supplied through the holes 4 to the working surface of the plate 1 and enters the space bounded by the contours of the drain hole, as a result of which the heated thermoplastic material of the safety layer 7 is pressed between the laminated material 5 and pressed against the thermoplastic material of the tape 6 exactly opposite drain hole. In the area of intense heating, which corresponds to the hole section coinciding with the induction loop section 3j, the excited alternating field is concentrated, since the so-called edge effect occurs. In this case, the foil cooling will be insignificant, since there is no contact of the free edge of the foil with any material capable of heat will dissipate; large heat will occur, which means that the adjacent parts of the thermoplastic fins are heated to a greater extent than other parts. A part of the safety layer 7, located opposite the induction loop 3, will thus be more plastic and mobile than other parts, so that the pressure creating and passing through the opening 4 will press this part of the pre-exposure layer 7 until full contact with the tape. 6 krppki along this part of the edge of the drain hole. A device for connecting two thermoplastic packaging material layers located on opposite sides of the drain opening, comprising plates, one of which is movable relative to the other and has a flat working surface, a heating device and openings made in the plate to be fed to the working surface of the plate pressure, characterized in that, in order to ensure intensive heating of the zone along the edge of the drain hole, the heating device is made in the form of an induction loop installed in the working surface of the plate, located along the edge of the drain hole, and the holes for supplying the pressure-generating medium are made in the same plate in which the induction loop is installed.
